Awards ceremony set take place on Feb. 2

HBO’s “Entourage” and “Extras,” NBC’s “The Office” and “30 Rock” and ABC’s “Ugly Betty” were nominated Wednesday for the Producers Guild’s top comedy honor.

In the drama category, the PGA nommed Showtime’s “Dexter,” ABC’s “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Lost,” NBC’s “Heroes,” Fox’s “House” and HBO’s “The Sopranos.”

Nonfiction nominations are Discovery Channel’s “Deadliest Catch” and “Planet Earth,” ABC’s “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition,” Bravo’s “Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List” and CBS’ “60 Minutes.” Live entertainment/competition heat encompasses CBS’ “The Amazing Race,” Fox’s “American Idol,” Comedy Central’s “The Colbert Report,” Bravo’s “Project Runway” and HBO’s “Real Time With Bill Maher.”

The film and longform television nominees will be announced in early January, and the awards ceremony is set for Feb. 2 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
