A blockbuster that makes you think? What’s the world coming to? It’s coming fast and fierce through Greengrass, who followed 2006’s penetrating “United 93” with his second run at the filmed tales of super-agent Jason Bourne, “The Bourne Ultimatum.” Not often does a film ruminating on questions of personal morality nab $250 million in domestic box office, but there’s the Greengrass magic for you. Raised in England, preoccupied at length in his work with Northern Ireland, Greengrass offers a strong argument with his latest American thriller for his second consecutive director nomination at the Oscars.
