The Miami Film Festival will take place March 2-11 and will unspool 112 films, including 69 features, 23 docus and 20 shorts.
Miami Dade College is presenting the festival that will have six venues for screenings throughout Miami. More than 300 filmmakers, directors, producers, distributors and industry executives are expected to attend including Viggo Mortensen, Tammy Blanchard, Paul Verhoeven and Catalina Sandino.
Luc Besson will be honored with fest’s fifth annual Career Achievement Tribute.
Event will present its fifth year of Miami Encuentros, a program that gives emerging producers from Spain and Latin America an opportunity to present new projects.
