MGM has upped Chris Bosco to senior VP finance.
Bosco will supervise all financial matters for the studio’s theatrical marketing, production finance and the newly forged home entertainment production unit in addition to his ongoing responsibilities managing MGM’s financial reporting.
Bosco, who will report to executive VP and CFO Steve Hendry, will also provide finance support to MGM’s newly formed film production joint ventures, including United Artists Entertainment, LLC and Ventanazul. Bosco will continue to be based at the studio’s headquarters in Century City, California.
He joined MGM in May of 2003 as VP, international finance group, overseeing all finance and accounting for the studio’s international home video operations. Most recently, Bosco served as the Lion’s as VP & controller.
Prior to MGM, Bosco joined the financial consulting firm Andersen in 1996 as a staff accountant and was ultimately promoted to Manager. In May 2002, Andersen merged its entertainment division with Ernst & Young, LLP. During the transition, Bosco was promoted to senior manager within the entertainment division, assigned to work on mergers and acquisitions.
