Executive shuffle at agency's film department

In a continued restructuring of ICM’s film department, Carol Bodie has stepped down from her post as head of motion picture talent and Toni Howard has been appointed to replace her.

Howard, who will preside over her first staff meeting next week, previously held that post in 1999.

The shuffle isn’t nearly as seismic as the one that left Ed Limato stripped of his title as ICM co-president. Limato, a 32-year vet, has been trying to negotiate his exit from a contract that runs until 2010. If Limato’s lawyers and ICM aren’t able to reach a settlement on a split of commissions from his star client stable, an arbitrator will hear the case on Aug. 1.

According to the agency, Bodie voluntarily stepped down from a post she has held since 2003. She is not leaving, per the agency, having signed a recent contract extension. She reps such clients as Claire Danes, Jada Pinkett Smith and Dermot Mulroney.

Howard continues to rep a client list that includes Halle Berry, Samuel L. Jackson, Laura Linney, Christina Ricci and Christopher Walken.
