The screenplay for “Kit Kittredge: An American Girl Mystery” is penned by Ann Peacock, who also adapted C.S. Lewis’ “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe” for the screen. HBO Films and Goldsmith-Thomas Productions, in association with Red Om Films and American Girl are producing. Picturehouse is set to release the film in July 2008.
