Germany’s ZDF takes ‘The Departed’

Broadcaster has yet to decide on when to screen pic

BERLIN — German pubcaster ZDF said on Tuesday it had secured the free-TV rights to Martin Scorsese pic “The Departed.”

The web provided no details about the price nor when the pic, which won four Academy Awards on Sunday, would be broadcast.

“That still has to be decided,” a ZDF spokesman said.
