Gabe Rotter upped at Ten Thirteen

Carter's company taps director of development

Gabe Rotter has been tapped director of development of Chris Carter’s production shingle Ten Thirteen Prods.

Rotter has spent the past eight years at the company as an assistant, working with Carter mainly on “The X-Files.”

Ten Thirteen’s developing a sequel to 1998’s “X-Files Movie” at Fox, based on the TV series.

Pic’s expected to reunite David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson.

Rotter’s also a scribe, with Simon & Schuster having just published his first novel, “Duck, Duck, Wally,” about a hip-hop ghost writer.

“Gabe has worked for me for over eight years and he still found the time to write a novel,” states Carter. “Someone that hard-working and devious deserves a bigger role in my operation!”
