Actor signs on to Universal film

Dan Fogler is joining Topher Grace and Anna Faris in “Kids in America,” the Michael Dowse-directed pic for Universal Pictures and Imagine Entertainment. Brian Grazer is producing.

Pic chronicles a night in the lives of recent college grads as they have one last fling before facing the job responsibilities of adulthood

Production begins in March in Arizona. Since winning a Tony for “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee,” Fogler has been booked into the lead or co-starring roles in several comedies. He’ll finally be seen in several of them this year, when Rogue Pictures’ “Balls of Fury,” Lionsgate’s “Good Luck Chuck” and the Weinstein Co.’s “Fanboys” see release.
