Drama to open in Sweden in November

Swedish helmer Josef Fares has unveiled a film he made in secret. “Leo” is to open on home turf in November.

Fares (“Jalla! Jalla!”) was still vague about the story, but said it concerns everyday violence and is more straightforwardly dramatic than his previous pics.

“Leo” has been shot on DV over several months.

Fares himself plays one of the leads.

Producer is Fares’ regular collaborator, Anna Anthony at Memfis Film.
