Two untitled projects already under way

BERLIN — Eros Intl., the London-based Indian movie conglom, has signed a three picture output deal with Bollywood production house Venus. Eros will co-produce and own all rights in all media.

Two currently untitled projects are under way. First is helmed by Abbas and Mastan Burmawalla (“Humraaz,” “Ajnabee”). Second is with Priyadarshan (“Garam Masala,” “Hulchul” and “Hungama”).

Venus, established in 1985, was responsible for hits including “Baazigar,” “Baadshah,” “Yes Boss,” “Josh” and “Main Hoon Na.”

Eros recently enjoyed an $11 million opening weekend on “Salaam-e-ishq” and will next release Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s “Eklavya: The Royal Guard” and Aishwarya Rai starrer “Provoked.”
