CANNES — Eros Entertainment, the London-listed Bollywood distribution giant, has inked a trio of content alliances and preemed a channel on YouTube.
It signed an exclusive output pact with Anil Kapoor Film Co. First pic to emerge from the deal is “Gandhi, My Father” helmed by Feroze Khan.
With producer Sajid Nadiadwala it inked another deal for Akshay Kumar, Fardeen Khan starrer “Heyy Babyy,” which Eros will release worldwide this summer.
Company announced that Abbas Mastan will produce films exclusively for Eros from now on, but did not announce titles.
Eros said Monday that it had launched a partner channel on video-sharing Web site YouTube. Channel, which it claims is first from a Bollywood player, contains a mix of trailers, footage from movie preems and star interviews.
