Shingle taps scribes to pen feature comedies
Wind Dancer Films has tapped Erik Lindsay and the scripting duo of Bear Aderhold and Tom Sullivan to pen feature comedies.
Pics are the first projects from the film shingle’s recently announced development fund.
L.A.-based company, which most notably produced Mel Gibson starrer “What Women Want,” landed a $3 million equity fund and hired theater pro Susann Brinkley to head development in October (Daily Variety, Oct. 24).
Aderhold and Sullivan have been hired to write “Fear Less,” about the most fearful man on earth, who because of an accident isn’t afraid of anything. Aderhold and Sullivan most recently worked on the pilot “Homeland Security” for WBTV and NBC.
They also are the team behind upcoming Lionsgate comedy “Delta Farce.”
Lindsay has been signed to write “Little Bastards,” about twentysomething cousins whose devious lifestyle comes to a halt when their dying grandmother curses them with goodness.
