Cinema Guild nabs rights to ‘Yella’

Distribution unit also scores 'Summer '04'

The Cinema Guild has acquired U.S. distribution rights to “Yella.”

German film bowed earlier this year at the Berlin Film Festival, where pic’s star, Nina Hoss, nabbed the Silver Bear for actress.

Christian Petzold-helmed thriller, which concerns a young woman’s efforts to escape her past, is skedded for release later this year.

Indie distrib is also skedded to bow Stefan Krohmer’s “Summer ’04” and Davide Ferrario’s doc “Primo Levi’s Journey” in the upcoming months.
