Award winner worked on 'Blazing,' 'Conan'

Award-winning editor C. Timothy O’Meara, died May 16 in Chatsworth. He was 64.

O’Meara worked on films including “Blazing Saddles,” “All the President’s Men,” “The Rose” — for which he was Oscar-nommed –and “Conan the Barbarian,” plus he won an Emmy for the miniseries “The Thorn Birds.”

Other credits include “The Grass Harp,” “The Last Starfighter” and “V.I. Warshawski.”

He is survived by a daughter and a brother.
