‘Brother’ on Un Certain Regard

'Zoo' also on Cannes slate

LONDON — Daniele Luchetti’s “My Brother Is An Only Child,” selected for the Un Certain Regard sidebar at Cannes, has landed on the sales slate of ThinkFilm Intl.

Now revamped as the niche sales arm of David Bergstein’s Capitol group and headed by Eve Schoukroun, ThinkFilm Intl. is also selling Robinson Devor’s doc “Zoo,” which will screen in the Directors’ Fortnight.

Other projects on the Cannes slate include Alex de la Iglesia’s “The Oxford Murders,” starring Elijah Wood; Nigel Cole’s “Five Dollars a Day” starring Christopher Walken; “The Last Word,” starring Winona Ryder; and Tony Kaye’s abortion docu “Lake of Fire.”

Schoukroun commented, “Berlin was the time to introduce our new vision to international buyers. As we now approach Cannes, we have put together the kind of diverse and impactful slate that we promised our distribution partners. Working with a truly global talent base and directors of the caliber of Daniele Luchetti, Alex de la Iglesia, Nigel Cole and Tony Kaye places us exactly where we want to be: delivering highly marketable yet distinctive movies at budget levels that make commerical sense.”
