BANGKOK — Helmer Songyos Sugmakanan’s boarding-school ghost pic “Dek hor” (Dorm) scared up the top kudos at the Bangkok Critics Assembly Awards Thursday.
It won for picture, director, screenplay, cinematography and supporting actress for Jintara Sugapat.
The assembly handed actor kudos to Krisda Sukosol Clapp for his role as a demented salesman in thriller “13 game sayong” (13 Beloved). Actress went to Nattaweeranuch Thongmee for the romantic comedy “Sab sanit siith sainar” (Noodle Boxer), which also garnered supporting actor honors for TV comedian Koh Tee.
Hit animation “Khan kluay” got the soundtrack glory.
Elegant haunted house yarn “Pen choo kab pee” (The Unseeable) won for art direction. The editing prize went to “13 Beloved.”
