7-11 in on ‘Simpsons’ promo stunt

Stores to be transformed into Kwik-E-Marts

Outlandish promo stunts for movie and TV premieres are nothing new, but 20th Century Fox has come up with a marketing idea that could be a “Homer” run.

To help hype July’s “The Simpsons Movie,” the studio is working to enlist 7-Eleven to turn several of the chain’s stores into Kwik-E-Marts. The fronts of about a dozen stores would be transformed to look like the cartoon’s famed convenience store, and shoppers could pick up everything from Krusty-Os cereal and Buzz Cola to Slurpees dressed up in cups that say Squishee.

The “Simpsons” treats would also be available at the chain’s other stores.

No word yet on how much d’oh, er, dough the stunt will cost. But given the buzz sparked so far, the idea may have already paid for itself in free publicity.

Mmmm … publicity.

As well, a myth regarding the financial institutions intentions when talking about property foreclosures is that the bank will not getreceive my repayments. There is a fair bit of time which the bank can take payments occasionally. If you are as well deep inside hole, they’re going to commonly desire that you pay the actual payment completely. However, that doesn’t mean that they will have any sort of installments at all. In case you and the loan company can find a way to work a thing out, a foreclosure approach may halt.
