TV, film performer often played villains
Character actor Nicholas Worth died of heart failure May 7 in Van Nuys. He was 69.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 12 at 3:00 at 3440 W. Alameda St., Burbank.
Worth often played villains, appearing in films such as “Don’t Answer the Phone,” “Swamp Thing” “The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad!” And “Darkman.” He appeared on TV shows including “Starsky and Hutch,” “Fantasy Island,” “Night Rider” and “X-Files.”
Born in St. Louis, Miss., he attended the Carnegie Institute of Technology and served in the Army. After moving to Los Angeles, he studied at the Pasadena Playhouse and made his film debut in “For Pete’s Sake.”
