New Films festival sets date

Event to begin on March 26

The New Directors/New Films fest will run March 26-April 6 in New York City.

Presented by the Film Society of Lincoln Center and the Museum of Modern Art, fest showcases the work of emerging filmmakers from around the world.

This year’s selection committee consists of three MOMA colleagues, Rajendra Roy, Jytte Jensen and Laurence Kardish as well as three representatives from the Film Society of Lincoln Center: Marian Masone, Joanna Ney and Richard Pena.

Prominent artists who have been featured in past New Directors/New Films include Spike Lee, Steven Spielberg, John Sayles and Guillermo del Toro. Entries to the fest will be accepted from Nov. 15-Jan. 9.
