Four up-and-coming Danish producers will be attached to vets through a mentoring program that will guide one of their projects to the bigscreen.
The Copenhagen Film Mentor will be funded by the Copenhagen Film Fund, Nordisk Film, Fredriksbergs kommune, Copenhagen Capacity, Kobenhavs Kommune and the Capital Region of Denmark.
Program kicked off in Cannes and will end at the Berlin fest next year when the winning project will be named.
The mentors are San Fu Maltha (“Black Book”); Judy Counihan, executive producer for drama at IWC Media; Ivan MacTaggart of Meteor Pictures; and Lene Bausager, (“Stealing Rembrandt”).
Ulrik Bolt Jorgenssen of the Copenhagen Film Fund said a fresh round will start at next Cannes.
