Biel attached as actor's long-lost daughter
Ray Liotta will join Forest Whitaker and Jessica Biel in “Powder Blue,” which director Timothy Linh Bui begins shooting next month.
Scripted by Bui, the drama concerns four troubled people who connect on Christmas Eve. Liotta plays an ex-con who has been released after a 25-year stretch and reaches out to his long-lost daughter (Biel).
Pic is a co-production of Eleven Eleven Films, Spirit Dance Entertainment and Grosvenor Park Media.
Last seen in “Wild Hogs” and “Smokin’ Aces,” Liotta just wrapped the Wayne Kramer-directed “Crossing Over,” a Weinstein Co. drama about immigration that also features Harrison Ford, Sean Penn and Ashley Judd in the ensemble cast.
