SEOUL — Ontario-based Landed Entertainments has unveiled a $7 million Canadian-South Korean co-production titled “Anti Hero” that will be shot in Seoul from early 2008.
Pic, to be directed by Junga Song, envisions a world where every resident possesses a unique skill that sets them apart from anyone else, except for the film’s protagonist.
The announcement of the project comes shortly after the launch of a new incentive program administered by the Seoul Film Commission that hopes to attract foreign shoots to Seoul. The program provides a refund of up to 25% on in-city spending, up to $100,000 per project, and also provides air tickets and accomodation for location scouting.
Written by Ali Mashayekhi, producers hope to attract stars from both Hollywood and South Korea.
