L.A. fest picks Fast Track

Program provides networking ops, free labs

The 2007 Los Angeles Film Fest has announced the 10 projects that will participate in the fifth annual Fast Track program.

Participating indies are: “A Letter to Elise,” helmed by Mike Ott and produced by Jennifer Shahin; “A Lifetime in Heat,” produced by Gina Kwon; “Elysian Fields,” produced by Susan West; “Exactly Like You,” directed by Silas Howard; “Jua Kali” (Harsh Sun), directed by Amie Williams; “Natural Selection,” directed by Robbie Pickering; “The Obit Writer,” helmed by Bill Oliver and produced by Susan A. Stover; “Point of Reference,” directed by Minh Nguyen-Vo; “Suck,” penned by Ursula Holloman and directed by Jon Reiss and “Super Macho,” directed by Aldo Velasco and produced by Jasmine Jaisinghani.

Fast Track program provides emerging filmmakers with networking opportunities and mentorship, as well as free labs for writers, directors and producers.
