New theme is 'from the abyss to the stars'
Los Angeles will serve as the host city for the U.S. debut of the Jules Verne Adventure Film Festival.
The 15-year-old festival will come Stateside in December with the theme ‘from the abyss to the stars.’
Festival has been stationed in Paris since its start and focuses on “celebrating the spirit of adventure and the preservation of our planet.”
In addition to honorary president Buzz Aldrin, other involved parties include board members James Cameron, George Lucas and Harrison Ford.
