‘Flatmates’ wins Grimstad award

Mork pic takes critics' prize

STOCKHOLM — Magnus Mork’s “Kompisar” (Flatmates) won the top prize at the Norwegian Short Film Festival in Grimstad, which ran June 14-19.

As well as the Golden Chair award, Mork received Norwegian kroner 50,000 ($8,300). The pic also won the film critics’ prize.

The Terje Vigen Award went to “No Man’s Land,” helmed by Lowri Rees. “Porn Star?,” helmed by John Sullivan won the documentary prize, and the music video award went to “Singer/Songwriter,” helmed by Janic Heen.

The European Short Film Award Prix UIP went to “Tommy,” helmed by Ole Giaever, who also won the new talent award.
