BFI sells ‘Voices’ to Bac, Sharmill

U.K. theatrical release set for April

BERLIN — The British Film Institute has sold its restored version of the classic Terence Davies movie “Distant Voices, Still Lives” to Bac Films in France and Sharmill Films in Australasia.

The BFI will give the pic a theatrical release in April. The movie was originally released in 1988.
