Belladonna Prods., the company behind “Mulberry” as well as indie titles “A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints” and “Transamerica,” has also optioned cult favorite author Joe R. Lansdale’s suspense novel “Cold in July” for “Mulberry” helmer Jim Mickle to direct and adapt with “Mulberry” co-writer Nick Damici.
