HOLLYWOOD –Care for some Pop Rocks?
The retro candy was just one of many ’80s-themed offerings at the after-preem party for “Music and Lyrics.” Guests could even play Pac-Man or flex their mind muscle with the Rubik’s Cube.
Bash, held at the Hollywood & Highland complex, complemented the Pop Rocks with, what else? — pop music courtesy of former teen queen Tiffany. Post-show, just around 11 p.m., Jimmy Fallon joined “Music and Lyrics” director Marc Lawrence up onstage for a four-song impromptu performance. The other band members were “Music” composer Adam Schlesinger, thesp Haley Bennett and Lawrence’s two kids.
The evening was a benefit for the National Resources Defense Council, an org near-and-dear to WB prexy-COO Alan Horn‘s heart. More than $300,000 was raised.
