The Hollywood Film Festival has tapped John Travolta for its supporting actor of the year award.
Kudo will be presented at the festival’s Oct. 22 awards ceremony at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
The org cited Travolta’s perf as Edna Turnblad in New Line’s “Hairspray.” Festival has already named the film’s Neal Meron and Craig Zadan as producers of the year and is giving “Hairspray’s” cast the ensemble acting awards.
Among the many others to be honored are Ben Affleck and Jennifer Connelly.
The festival will take place Oct. 17-22 at the ArcLight Theaters in Hollywood.
