The BBC dominated the 25th annual Sony Radio Awards on Monday, taking home most of the trophies in the personality, program and production categories.
Classic FM was named the U.K. station of the year, while BBC Radio 2’s Chris Evans was named radio personality of 2007. Evans also took home the trophy for best program entertainment award.
Latenight Radio 1 host John Peel won a posthumous special honor. Peel, who died of a heart attack in 2004, was named the most influential radio star of the past 25 years at the kudocast.
Tony Butler of the BBC West Midlands won the lifetime achievement award.
The winners were announced on Monday at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
