Art director/set decorator, 'The Darjeeling Limited'

Indian multihyphenate Seth has long turned in diligent work as Deepa Mehta’s jack-of-all-trades and as a director-writer (“DAM/ AGE”) during her shift at the intersection of the two ‘woods — Bolly and Holly. Putting on the art director and set decorator hats for Wes Anderson’s “The Darjeeling Limited,” Seth constructs the titular (fictional) railway line with a vivid, prismatic palette, playing with Western Orientalist fantasies and pushing Anderson’s patented brand of designer whimsy into overdrive.
