Film will premiere in Toronto Film Festival
HONG KONG — Hong Kong and Amsterdam-based int’l sales house Fortissimo has picked up rights to upcoming Jan Schuette movie “Love Comes Lately,” which will preem in next month’s Toronto fest.
English-language pic is an adaptation of several short stories by Nobel Literature prize-winning novelist Isaac Bashevis Singer. Story follows an old man who, despite his age, pursues with vigor multiple real and imaginary love lives. It stars Otto Tausig, Rhea Perlman, Barbara Hershey, and Elizabeth Pena.
Pic was produced by zero fiction film and zero west filmproduction which retains rights within Germany.
