Yarek Danielak and Chuck Speed’s L.A.-based sales shingle Arsenal Pictures has struck a deal under which it will handle all films flowing from ambitious Asian mini-studio Bigfoot Entertainment.
Slate covers comedy remake “Love Stinks”; AIDS drama “3 Needles,” starring Lucy Liu; “The Curiosity of Chance”; dual-language thriller “Irreversi”; and thriller “Deep Gold.”
Deal only applies to films that are fully financed by the Hong Kong, Philippines and L.A.-based shingle. Excluded are “Shanghai Kiss,” which is repped by Arclight Films, and “East Broadway” (formerly “Falling for Grace”).
Bigfoot is wholly owned by entrepreneur Michael Gleissner and spans production and studio facilities in the Philippines and the Cebu-based Intl. Academy of Film & Television.
