'Juno' wins prizes for comedy, actress, writing

“Juno” was the big winner at the 12th annual Satellite Awards with three wins for feature (comedy), actress for Ellen Page and screenplay for Diablo Cody.

In the drama category, “No Country for Old Men” won awards for picture and director for Joel and Ethan Coen.

“Elizabeth: The Golden Age” took honors for art direction and costume design.

Viggo Mortensen drew the actor in a drama nod for his turn in “Eastern Promises.” Actor in a comedy went to Ryan Gosling for “Lars and the Real Girl.”

Other wins include actress for Marion Cotillard for her role in “La Vie en rose,” while adapted screenplay to Christopher Hampton for “Atonement.”

In the TV categories, Showtime’s “Dexter” took the drama honors, as well as actor for Michael C. Hall and the DVD release of a TV show award.

ABC’s frosh comedy “Pushing Daisies” drew the comedy series nod.

Vidgame prizes include wins for “Guitar Hero II” for sports/rhythm/music game and “God of War II” for action game, with the latter beating out “Bioshock.”

The Satellite Awards were announced Sunday.
