Euro broadcasting group ProSiebenSat1 is intensifying its relationship with U.S. game maker ZeniMax, in which it holds a minority stake.
It will launch SevenGames.com, the international version of its German game platform, in December and work with ZeniMax to develop online gaming.
Maryland-based ZeniMax, which just completed a $300 million capital increase, is valued at $1.2 billion. ProSiebenSat1 holds a 9% stake through SBS Broadcasting, which it took over this summer. Among ZeniMax’s games are the “Elder Scrolls” series, “Star Trek” and “Pirates of the Caribbean.”
ZeniMax’s board includes Jerry Bruckheimer, CBS topper Leslie Moonves and MGM’s Harry Sloan.
