BERLIN — MTV Networks has revamped management of its music divisions as it restructures its main MTV and Viva outlets.
Susanne Wiesner, formerly channel manager at Viva, takes the new position of director of programming and will oversee programming and digital production as well as Internet at MTV and Viva, as Wiesner’s new duties are at both channels.
Wiesner replaces Catherine Baikousis, who ankled after eight months as MTV channel manager to concentrate on her Rio Film shingle. Baikousis, who will develop scripted content and TV formats, will continue to serve MTV as a producer.
Formerly head of talent and music, Marcus Adam will head talent and artist relations and music programming for MTV and Viva as director talent and music.
Also upped to director-level were Frank Troesken and Stephan Schwarzer, who will remain in charge of their respective areas, program planning and acquisitions and development.
All report to MTV and Viva senior VP Elmar Giglinger.
