Effects guru Kolpack joins Eden FX

Supervisor's credits include 'Ruffian,' 'Thief'

Visual effects supervisor Mark Kolpack, fresh from overseeing vfx on “Heroes,” has left that NBC skein to join Eden FX.

Kolpack’s other credits include “Commander in Chief,” “Ruffian,” “One Tree Hill” and “Thief.”

In 1996 he opened his own company, Perfx, where he produced vfx for commercials and did composite work on features “Blade” and “Rush Hour.”

Hollywood-based Eden FX specializes in 3D animation, compositing, 3D matte painting, character animation and on-set supervision. It is a subsidiary of Point 360.
