BT, WB download deal is a keeper

Subscribers will have opportunity to own films

Upstart Internet-TV service BT Vision has signed a download-to-keep movie deal with Warner Bros.

Vision’s latest content deal for its online download store, launched last year, will give subscribers the opportunity to own pics including “Happy Feet” and “The Prestige.”

Mixing an on-demand offering with digital TV channels, BT Vision was given a soft launch last December and is gearing up for a full launch in the next few months.

The deal with Warners is one of several content deals for the download store also believed to include movies from British rights owners.
