MySpace finds space for manga

Social site teams with Tokyopop for channel

HONG KONG — Tokyopop and social networking website MySpace will launch a new channel and exclusive shows based on four manga series.

Pilot episodes based on the U.S.-Japanese firm’s skeins “I Luv Halloween,” “A Midnight Opera,” “Bizenghast” and “Riding Shotgun” will hit MySpace this week, with new episodes due to run weekly. Shows are animated by Hong Kong-based Menfond Electronic Art.
