On Thursday, Obama mania will give way to Hillary, as she attends a series of smaller receptions for fund-raisers who pledge to raise $25,000 to $50,000 for her presidential bid.
It’s a busy schedule, to say the least.
She plans to start the day with a morning reception hosted by Ron Burkle, followed at 11:30 a.m. by a brunch at the home of Haim Saban. She next travels to CAA for a mid-afternoon meeting with agents there, then goes to the office of the Los Angeles Music Center’s John Emerson for a reception. Sim Farar is hosting a 5:30 p.m. cocktail gathering at his home. All of the events are intended to be a build up to the March 24 gala fund-raiser at Burkle’s home.
Her one fund-raiser, per se, is targeted at the Iranian-American community and is a dinner at the home of Nina Ansary and Ali Saffari. Tickets for a cocktail reception are $250 per person, a private cocktail reception costs $2,300 per person and the private cocktail reception and dinner is $4,600 per person.
