CNN scored a big number for its Democratic debate Sunday night, but a technical glitch proved embarrassing as it geared up to host the Republicans on Tuesday.
CNN drew 2.78 million viewers for its debate between the Democrats, a big number on Sunday night for a cable news network, and the biggest aud for a presidential debate thusfar.
But a pool feed caught Larry King getting testy with producers over the length of an Anderson Cooper segment, and the clip was uploaded to YouTube.
The clip showed King rubbing his eyes and chatting with producers until he learned how long Cooper’s segment was set to run.
“What I need to know is this: Anderson gets more time with his panel than we get with ours? If so, why,” he said.
CNN is hosting the Republicans on Tuesday night at the same venue at St. Anselm College in Manchester, N.H.
