WGA.org gets a makeover

The strike has pushed the WGA West website into a new mode.

On Tuesday, without fanfare, the site launched a completely different look. The redesigned site’s colors lean heavily on the signature red-and-black used in picket signs and T-shirts. And the site features photos showing dozens of members holding picket signs.

The front page has the usual links to news releases and stories, information about picketing, video clips and a link to UnitedHollywood, the site run by strike captains.

The new front page also includes a link to one of the guild’s favorite recent columns, penned by EW.com’s Mark Harris: Why the Striking Writers are Right.
