Kim Waugh has been promoted to senior VP of post-production services at Warner Bros. Studio Facilities.
He’ll lead the senior management team and oversee all marketing, sales, talent management, facilities and technical operations on a day-to-day basis. His primary focus will be on sound clients, ranging from motion pictures and television to DVD mastering, audio restoration and emerging media.
Waugh most recently served as VP of post-production services, a post he had held since 2004. Prior to joining Warner Bros., he worked at Ascent Media Creative Sound Services and Soundelux.
The New Zealand native received a Scientific and Technical Award from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in 1995 for his work on the development of the Advanced Data Encoding (ADE) System, or “Kiwi 9000.”
