“SNL,” “30 Rock” head to Upright Citizens Brigade Theater

The show may not be going out through the orthicon tube, but “Saturday Night Live” will live on tomorrow night with a live staging at Gotham’s Upright Citizens Theater. Proceeds from the $20-per-tix show will go to the show’s recently pinkslipped below-the-line staff the WGA strike fund. And it’s already sold out, per the UCB website. It’s unclear how many “SNL” regulars will show up for the perf.

UCB also plans a live staging of NBC’s Emmy-winning “30 Rock” on Monday, also to benefit the strike war chest. Again, not clear how many of the thesps will take part but it’s expected that Tina Fey will…
