Operating revenue, operating profit and net income at Canuck cable operator Rogers Communications were all up for the fourth quarter.
Rogers, one of Canada’s biggest cable companies, reported that its operating revenue for the three months ended Dec. 31 increased 14.4% to C$2.4 billion ($2 billion), up from $1.8 billion a year earlier.
Operating profit was $645 million, up 46.3% on $441 million the previous year. Net income for the quarter for the Toronto-based company was $151 million, up from a loss of $58 million a year earlier.
Rogers said all units saw results improve.
