No Shut Down for “Ellen”

Ellen Turns out syndicated talker "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" didn't shut down yesterday after all — despite earlier reports that the WGA strike kept it out of production.

The gabfest was dark Monday, but that was a pre-scheduled day off for the show; yesterday's original episode was taped last week.

The lights were back on at "Ellen" today at NBC's Burbank studios, where the show is taped.
