Big winner of the 2007 Writers Guild Strike so far: Krispy Kreme. Not only did an anonymous studio chief drop off a few dozen at Disney, but “Tonight Show” host Jay Leno motored up to the Peacock’s Bob Hope Drive entrance with several boxes of the glazed goodies as well.

“There aren’t many unions left –- we have to stick together,” Leno said.

Asked whether he could make a few calls to his GE bosses push things along himself, Leno cracked, “Yeah, I am the tipping point. Let me make that call now. The jet turban division.”

Leno said it was too soon to tell what will happen with “The Tonight Show” – dark for the time being – if a strike drags on.

“We’ll take it one day at a time,” he said.

Also spotted in the crowd: At least one toddler, hitting the picket line with her parents. — MS
