B.O.: $5.3 million

Exec suite: Jonathan Dern and Greg Rutkowski, co-presidents
Analysis: To date, Bigger Picture’s niche has been religious fare, with the bulk of its slate comprising Fox Faith films. Titles have included such $1 million-plus grossers as “The Ultimate Gift,” about a grandfather passing on wise advice, and thriller “Thr3e,” about a seminary student’s faceoff with a psychopathic killer.
A fee-based distributor, Bigger has access to a 3,000-screen digital distribution network via its parent, satellite conglom AccessIT. (Bigger was acquired at the beginning of 2007.) The imprint continues to handle an array of new and vintage animated features from studios and indies, released under its KidToons label. Such product typically plays theaters during the weekend matinee hours. Bigger’s execs say the upcoming slate has yet to be finalized, noting fare will include live concerts, operas and indie horror films.
