Rental inquiries for the CAA building(s) in BevHills have been averaging 20 a month. The easternmost addition to the original building will get a new face for prospective new renter(s). The property is owned by Bob Goldman, Bill Haber, Ron Meyer and Mike Ovitz. Haber is now in London readying the Oct.17 bow of “Spamalot.” He was just in BevHills talking “Six Women I Was Before I Was 35,” his one hour series with Lifetime and also talking a series with NBC. Also talking the gala in 2007 for the 75th anniversary of “Save the Children” at which past Presidents Bill Clinton and George Bush are anticipated to participate.

The William Morris Agency will honor Owen Laster, celebrating “45 wonderful years with the Agency” with a toasting Oct.25 at The Four Seasons in N.Y. The invite notes, “As one chapter closes, a glorious new chapter begins.” The list of Laster’s literary clients over the years includes Dominick Dunne, James Bradley, Judy Blume, William Diehl, James Michener, Robert Penn Warren, Gore Vidal, the estate of Margaret Mitchell — and many more.
